  1. 1

Claude 101 — the first stop, always

Beginner · everyday work tasks · no coding

The starter course. Teaches what Claude actually is and how to use it for real knowledge-work tasks — drafting, analyzing, organizing. No coding, no API setup, no developer detours. It’s the “I’ve used ChatGPT once, what do I do now?” course. Every other course assumes this baseline.

Why take it first: attaching the Compliance for Claude files before you’ve done this is like wiring a panel without knowing how circuits work. Spend the time up front and the corpus, the playbooks, and the Compliance Log will make immediate sense.

AI Fluency: Framework & Foundations — the thinking scaffold

    Beginner · framework-level · effective · efficient · ethical · safe

A course on how to collaborate with AI systems — effectively, efficiently, ethically, and safely. Those four words are not marketing fluff: they’re the analytical scaffold compliance officers already use to evaluate any tool the firm deploys.

Why this is the load-bearing one for compliance pros: your job is to think about what happens when things go wrong. This course gives you the framework to do that thinking rigorously about AI specifically — not just “how to prompt” but “how to decide whether to deploy.” Highest-leverage course on the academy for our audience.

AI Capabilities and Limitations — the honesty layer

Beginner · how AI works · where it fails

An introductory course on how AI works under the hood — and where it doesn’t. Covers hallucination patterns, knowledge cutoffs, and why some tasks the model handles beautifully and others it gets confidently wrong.

Why this matters for compliance work: the entire Compliance for Claude thesis — verbatim regulator text only, citation-anchored audit trails, “mechanism not assertion” — is shaped around the limitations this course teaches. Watch it and the framing of everything we ship will land.

Introduction to Claude Cowork if your firm runs on Microsoft 365

    Beginner-to-intermediate · M365 integration · multi-step workflows

A hands-on course on working alongside Claude on real files and projects through the Cowork integration: the task loop, plugins and skills, file and research workflows, and how to steer multi-step work responsibly.

Why take it if you’re an M365 shop: most regulated lenders run on Teams + SharePoint + Word. Cowork brings Claude into that environment without your IT team changing anything. Direct prerequisite for the Compliance for Claude Microsoft 365 walkthrough — that page assumes you’ve taken this course.

AI Fluency for Small Businesses if you’re at a small lender or broker

    Beginner · SMB scale · mission-aligned adoption

A version of the AI Fluency framework tailored for small businesses — SMB-scale adoption, mission alignment, practical constraints of working without an enterprise IT team.

Why take it if you’re at a small shop: a real chunk of the mortgage industry is small lenders, brokers, and independent practitioners wearing multiple hats. This course is built for that shape of organization, not for the large-enterprise rollout patterns.
